Importing Contacts from Salesforce into Contactzilla

This guide explains how to sync contacts from Salesforce into Contactzilla to keep them updated across all connected devices.

Steps

  1. Connector Installation: Install the Contactzilla Salesforce Connector from the provided link for your Salesforce account (Admin only).
  2. Address Book: Create or select the destination address book in Contactzilla.
  3. Start Import: Go to Import > Salesforce > ‘+ Import Salesforce’ and connect via OAuth.
  4. Sync Preferences: Set frequency (Manual or Daily).
  5. Field Mapping: Map the Salesforce ID to a ‘Custom unique field’ to ensure correct future updates. Map other fields like Name and Email.
  6. Handle Deletions: Optionally enable deletion handling by mapping the isDeleted field.
  7. Duplicates: Choose Skip, Replace (Recommended), or Merge.
  8. Review: Monitor the import and download a results CSV if errors occur.
  9. Management: Use ‘Manage’ under the Import menu to trigger manual syncs or view logs.
